study abroad fashion: city edition

back 2 school

Not that I had too many lazy days of summer, but is anyone else saddened by how quickly this summer has flown by?! The only saving grace of summer leaving is the joy that is fall fashion and what feels like a new beginning. Fall is my absolute favorite time of year ~ you can truly enjoy the city as it’s not sweltering hot, nor bitter cold. Like Goldilocks and the Three Bears, it’s just right.

For many this is back to school season, and what better time to update your look? Heck, take this time to update your attitude (if need be) or your overall outlook on life. There’s no rule that says you have to wait until January 1 to do that. Why not start with the change of the season?

Sorry, I digress. At this point, you’re probably thinking what the heck does the title of this post have to do with this post?! Well, maybe not much as I won’t give you any tips for studying abroad {the title really just fit well with the blog name ;-)}. However, at a minimum I hope it gives you inspiration for a different spin to your typical look, or just something cool to wear as you saunter to class in a foreign city (if you actually happen to be studying abroad).

The only accessory missing from the ensemble (click for outfit details) above?  A pair of kick-ass shades. I’m totally digging the “Clara” from the Warby Parker X Karlie Kloss Collaboration. They have this super cool, yet ultra sophisticated vibe to them (see below for yourself) and even better ~ each sale will benefit the Edible Schoolyard NYC. It’s a non-profit organization that provides kitchens and gardens to low-income public schools, giving students the tools to develop life-long healthy habits. And, as always, Warby Parker, will distribute a pair of glasses to someone in need! So, what are you waiting for? Get the clicking…
